Parliament-Funkadelic is a funk act created as a combination of two bands. Parliament was more of a regular funk band while Funkadelic was more of a psychedelic soul type. Parliament had previously garnered five certified albums. They had two hit singles. Funkadelic had two certified albums. One Nation Under a Groove was a hit. Frontman George Clinton went on to have a successful solo career. They were inducted by Prince.
