Roxy Music is a glam rock band popular in the eighties. Album Avalon went platinum with two others being hits. Single Love is the Drug was a hit. Frontman Bryan Ferry went on to have a successful solo career. Indie band Ladytron took their name from a Roxy Music song. Roxy Music was also a pioneer of glam rock, a style also associated with Elton John, David Bowie, and New York Dolls. Their style is also associated with artists such as Eurythmics, Duran Duran, and A Flock of Seagulls. They were inducted by Simon Le Bon and John Taylor of Duran Duran.
